    Insurance

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify your mental health services coverage, as well as telehealth services.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

    • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
    • Do I have a deductible or copay? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
    • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
    • Do I have telehealth mental health coverage? If so, is it temporarily covered due to COVID-19 and will need to be in-person at a later time.

    Payment

All copays, deductibles, (your portion), and self-pay options, will need to be paid on the same day as services provided, prior to your appointment. Payments are accepted with debit/credit cards only at this time.

    No Surprises Act/Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
    • You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
    • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate (GFE’s).
    • While it’s difficult to determine length of treatment needed prior to beginning services, without symptom severity knowledge, or without an assessment and diagnosis, for the sake of this new requirement all GFE’s will be based off one year of treatment if you were attending weekly sessions at the maximum rate, prior to any discounts. Please feel free to check the rates above and discuss with provider any further questions or concerns.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit

    Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours before appointment. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
